Hi! My name is Sara, the crafter behind Sasha | Handcrafted
Neckware. Each piece is uniquely designed and executed, mixing colorful
textiles & different types of beads. Textiles range from soft yarns to
tattered chiffon to luxe velvet and combined with vintage, wood, glass and/or
semi-precious beads. I am passionate about color & texture and feel these
statement, one-of-a-kind pieces add an exclamation point to every outfit,
regardless of occasion.

I grew up in Solon, Ohio where I began crafting jewelry
using unconventional materials at an early age. I studied Fashion Merchandising
& Art Therapy at Mercyhurst College, where I learned the patience &
practice of sewing and business. Residing in Pittsburgh for 11 years, I’ve
worked for fashion-forward retailers perfecting the art of merchandising & buying.
Most importantly, Pittsburgh has helped me recognize and appreciate the local
& handcrafted artist movement, which I’m honored to be a part of!
